D.J. Miller is a partner in the insolvency and restructuring group of Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP and has more than 20 years experience in representing various stakeholders in complex restructuring proceedings and bankruptcy litigation. Ms. Miller is a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada (IIC) and is on the Board of Directors of the Turnaround Management Association (Toronto Chapter). She currently acts as lead Canadian insolvency counsel to the UK Pension Claimants in the Nortel Networks case, in successfully obtaining a Decision allocating US$7.3bn of proceeds on a pro rata basis among the various global estates, following an unprecedented joint trial of the Canadian and US Courts.
